Premium 301 Wireless Gen2 Active Speakers

The Piega Premium 301 Wireless Gen2 active bookshelf speakers combine high-quality craftsmanship, advanced acoustic technologies, and wireless streaming features. Compact and elegant, they blend seamlessly into any interior.

Handcrafted in Switzerland, these speakers are built with extruded aluminum enclosures. This lightweight and rigid material offers excellent acoustic properties and an attractive aesthetic. The thin walls maximize internal volume for deep bass. The speakers are available in brushed aluminum, black anodized, or white lacquered finishes.

Drivers and Acoustic Technologies

The “Linear Drive Ribbon” (LDR) tweeter is a Piega specialty. Entirely handmade, this second-generation ribbon tweeter (LDR 2642 MKII) delivers extremely precise and clear high-frequency reproduction up to 35 kHz. Its ultra-light pleated ribbon diaphragm ensures optimal transient response.

A 14 cm MDS (Magnetic Drive System) cone driver effortlessly and swiftly reproduces all midrange and bass frequencies down to 39 Hz. Its low-distortion design provides a natural rendering of voices and instruments.

Sealed Enclosure

Unlike the first generation, the Premium 301 Wireless Gen2 features a sealed enclosure instead of a bass-reflex port. This improves bass precision and control, impulse fidelity, and makes placement near a wall or in a corner easier.

Built-in Amplification

Each speaker integrates its own amplifiers totaling 100W, finely tuned to the drivers. Digital active filtering (DSP) optimizes frequency response and dynamics at all listening levels. A loudness function preserves sound richness even at low volume.

Connectivity and Streaming

Piega Connect Plus Module

A compact transmitter box called Piega Connect, available as an option, transmits the signal to the speakers. It connects to sources via analog RCA, digital coaxial, and optical inputs. The Connect Plus model adds an HDMI ARC input for easy TV connection.

Streaming and Multiroom

The Connect Plus module features Bluetooth aptX and Wi-Fi for wireless music streaming from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. It is compatible with Apple AirPlay, Google Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Roon, and DLNA streaming. Multiple Piega speakers can be grouped for multiroom use throughout the home.

Control App

The free Piega Control app for iOS and Android makes it easy to control volume, sources, and speaker settings. It includes equalization functions, room acoustic calibration, and specific settings to enhance TV sound.
