Taga Harmony STPC-TS Power Cable

The Taga Harmony STPC-TS is a power cable designed to provide clean and stable power to audio and video equipment. This cable aims to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) that can negatively impact the performance of connected devices.

Design and Materials

The STPC-TS cable uses 99.99% pure oxygen-free copper (4N) conductors, silver-plated. This combination of high-quality materials ensures optimal conductivity and lossless electrical signal transmission. The 7 conductors of 20 AWG gauge (0.5 mm² each) are distributed as follows: 3 for the phase, 3 for the neutral, and 1 for the ground. This configuration guarantees stable and balanced power supply.

Each conductor benefits from double insulation with 1.6 mm thick polyethylene (PE) and 3 mm PVC. This careful insulation minimizes interference and signal loss.

Multi-layer Shielding

To protect against the omnipresent radio (RFI) and electromagnetic (EMI) interference in the home environment, the STPC-TS cable is equipped with comprehensive 3-level shielding:

• A braid of 4N pure copper, silver-plated (16 x 7 x 0.1 mm)
• A layer of metallized tape (brocade)
• A 12.5 mm thick polyethylene (PE) sheath

This multi-layer shielding acts as a true barrier against high-frequency disturbances, ensuring a highly pure electrical signal. An outer PVC sheath of 17.2 mm and a nylon over-sheath complete this protection.

Quality Connectors

The STPC-TS cable is equipped with a Schuko plug and an IEC-C13 connector, both designed to deliver current up to 16A at 250V. The robust and easy-to-handle Schuko plug features non-magnetic brass pins and ground, rhodium-plated. This treatment ensures excellent electrical contact while preventing oxidation.

The reinforced IEC-C13 connector also benefits from rhodium-plated contacts. Its design allows for a secure and durable connection with devices.
