A Truly Connected Amplifier

With its dual WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, the Home Amp opens the doors to audio streaming by providing access to many popular online music services such as Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, Tidal, and more. It is also possible to play audio files shared on the home network via DLNA, up to High Resolution 24-bit / 192 kHz, as well as DSD 2.8 or 5.6 MHz. The files are played in “gapless” mode for a smooth listening experience, without gaps between tracks.

Other Wireless Technologies

In addition to WiFi, the Home Amp is compatible with wireless streaming technologies such as Bluetooth (version 4.2), Apple’s AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect. This allows you to easily stream music from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

Multiroom with HEOS

The amplifier integrates HEOS technology developed by Denon. With the dedicated app (available on iOS and Android), it can be integrated into a multiroom system with other compatible devices spread throughout the home. You can thus play the same music everywhere or different content in each room, all controlled from a single point of control in the palm of your hand.

HDMI eARC Port

The Home Amp features an HDMI eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) port. This allows it to be easily connected to a modern TV or projector to retrieve the sound and enjoy an immersive Home Theater experience by fully exploiting the capabilities of the speakers.

Dolby Digital Stream Processing

Thanks to its powerful audio processor, the amplifier ensures perfect handling of Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus streams from the TV. Several sound modes are offered, such as DSP Virtual Surround which extends the soundstage, or Dialog Enhancer which improves dialogue intelligibility. A night mode is also available to compress dynamics during late-night sessions.

Other Audio Inputs

In addition to HDMI, there is an RCA analog input for connecting a source like a turntable (with built-in preamp), as well as an optical input for a CD player, for example. A subwoofer output is also included to add impact in the bass.

A Powerful Amplification Core

To do justice to both music and soundtracks, the Denon Home Amp relies on a solid amplification section of 2 x 100 W at 8 ohms, which can rise to 2 x 125 W at 4 ohms. The Class D operation ensures great responsiveness and low distortion, for a dynamic and detailed rendering.

Many settings are accessible from the HEOS app for precise sound adjustment according to the speakers and the listening room: bass level, right/left balance, high-pass filter, subsonic filter, etc.
