The IN 300 offers amazing airiness, brightness, and soundstage; you can feel the reverberation of the recording like I have never perceived before.
The midrange is precise, natural, simply true. The bass is more present in the sub-bass, clean and punchy without the slightly "boomy" character I felt before, not to mention the dynamics! The highly refined treble is more present but without aggressiveness. In fact, a very clearly noticeable improvement across the entire frequency range.
The power of this amplifier is remarkable, along with excellent speaker control at high volume. The most surprising thing is that listening at low volume is also lively and detailed and requires no artificial enhancement.
A very good match with Focal 726 floorstanding speakers, which show an impedance drop to 2.9 Ohms around 90 Hz.
Despite the good performance with the current speakers, I can confidently consider moving upmarket!

Exceptional amplifier, the bypass input allowed me to incorporate it into my home cinema system (used as a power amp), perfect control of my Cabasse Ibiza 352. Top notch!
Only disappointment: the trigger jack is an output, so it can’t be switched on and off by my Denon 4800 home cinema amp. So that means yet another remote control. Well done, Atoll.
