The MartinLogan Dynamo 10 is a subwoofer equipped with a 25.4 cm anodized aluminum high-excursion driver, mounted on a stamped steel frame. Aluminum, chosen for the woofer cone, stands out for its lightness, rigidity, and excellent heat dissipation. These properties allow for deep and precise bass reproduction, with optimal control even at high volumes.

The woofer also benefits from an inverted surround design that optimizes excursion and reduces turbulence caused by airflow. This results in more detailed and articulate low-frequency reproduction, whether the subwoofer is used in a front-firing or down-firing configuration.

Generous Amplification for Dynamic Performance

To power this demanding transducer, MartinLogan has equipped the Dynamo 10 with an ultra-efficient Magnitude MT-1kW Class D amplifier. Capable of delivering a peak power of 1000 W (500 W RMS), this amplifier ensures perfect control of the driver and delivers impressive dynamic performance.

The Class D architecture achieves extremely low distortion levels while ensuring optimal energy efficiency. The high-quality switching power supply provides the necessary energy efficiently and without unwanted noise. Thanks to this generous amplification, the Dynamo 10 is able to reproduce the most demanding passages with authority, whether for music or movie special effects.

A Digital Brain for Optimal Performance

The Dynamo 10 features a next-generation Vojtko digital signal processor (DSP). This 500 MHz, 64-bit DSP engine controls all aspects of the subwoofer’s performance in real time. This impressive processing power enables advanced features while ensuring total sonic transparency.

Among these features are an adjustable low-pass filter from 35 to 120 Hz, phase control from 0 to 180 degrees, and various preset listening modes (Movie, Music, Night). The DSP also allows for correction of the response in the very low frequencies (20–30 Hz) to adapt to the room’s acoustics.

Versatile Connectivity for Easy Integration

To suit all audio systems, the Dynamo 10 offers numerous connection options. There are stereo RCA line inputs and an LFE (Low Frequency Effects) input for use in a home theater system. High-level inputs are also available for direct connection to a stereo amplifier.

One of the unique features of the Dynamo 10 is its built-in wireless receiver. Paired with the WSK1E wireless transmitter (sold separately), it allows for more flexible installation by eliminating wiring constraints. The wireless transmission ensures lossless audio quality and low latency.

Intuitive Control at Your Fingertips

MartinLogan has developed a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android that greatly simplifies the setup and use of the Dynamo 10. Via a Bluetooth connection, this app allows you to adjust all subwoofer settings in real time from your listening position.

The intuitive interface provides access to volume, crossover frequency, phase adjustment, and the various preset listening modes. A unique sound sweep function helps locate areas in the room where unwanted resonances may occur, making it easier to find the optimal subwoofer placement.

Refined Finish to Suit Any Interior

The Dynamo 10 is not only high-performing, it’s also elegant. Its high-quality MDF cabinet ensures optimal rigidity to limit unwanted resonances. The subwoofer is available in two finishes: glossy black with metallic gray accents, or satin white with silver accents.

Integrated anti-vibration feet improve performance by reducing vibration transfer to the floor. For use on carpet, metal spikes are also provided. The invisible grille mounting system offers a clean look when the grille is removed.
