EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2

EverSolo presents the second generation of its audiophile network player DMP-A6, the DMP-A6 GEN2. This new version retains the qualities that made its predecessor so successful while bringing significant improvements for an even more immersive and versatile listening experience.

A notable evolution compared with its predecessor

Compared with the original model, the DMP-A6 GEN2 brings several significant improvements. The user interface has been optimized for smoother, more intuitive navigation. The DAC’s performance has been refined to deliver even better dynamics and clarity. Connectivity has been expanded, in particular with the addition of an HDMI ARC input, making the device more versatile in a modern audio-video system.

A powerful technological core for exceptional audio performance

At the heart of the DMP-A6 GEN2 is a quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor, ensuring smooth navigation and fast processing of audio streams. The internal memory of 4 GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage guarantees optimal performance, even when using resource-hungry applications.

The device incorporates a dual ESS ES9038Q2M DAC, a benchmark in the field of digital-to-analog conversion. This dual-mono configuration ensures perfect channel separation and remarkably precise sound reproduction. The DMP-A6 GEN2 supports a wide range of high-resolution audio formats, including PCM up to 32-bit / 768 kHz, DSD up to DSD512, as well as MQA.

Extensive connectivity for perfect integration into your audio system

The DMP-A6 GEN2 stands out for its versatility in terms of connectivity. On the digital input side, there is a USB-C port, an optical input, and a coaxial input, allowing you to connect various external sources. The presence of an HDMI ARC input is particularly useful for integrating the player into a home theater system.

The audio outputs include balanced XLR connectors and unbalanced RCA connectors, offering maximum flexibility for connection to different types of amplifiers. Network connectivity is provided by a Gigabit Ethernet port and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), ensuring a stable connection for audio streaming.

An enhanced user experience thanks to an optimized Android operating system

The DMP-A6 GEN2 runs on Android, providing access to a wide range of music streaming apps. Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, Amazon Music, and many others are directly accessible from the device’s interface. Roon Ready certification also allows seamless integration into a Roon ecosystem for the most demanding audiophiles.

The device is compatible with common network protocols such as DLNA, UPnP, and AirPlay 2, making it easy to stream music from various devices. The built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module, equipped with the Qualcomm QCC5125 chip, supports advanced codecs like aptX HD and LDAC for high-quality wireless listening.

Advanced features for a personalized audio experience

EverSolo has equipped the DMP-A6 GEN2 with features that allow you to fine-tune your listening experience. Seven digital filters are available, offering the possibility to subtly adjust the sound signature according to your preferences. The high-precision dual-oscillator clock system helps reduce jitter, ensuring exceptionally pure audio reproduction.

The device also includes a slot for an M.2 NVMe SSD, allowing you to add up to 4 TB of internal storage. This feature turns the DMP-A6 GEN2 into a true music server, capable of storing and instantly playing back a vast music library.

Elegant design combining aesthetics and functionality

The DMP-A6 GEN2 features a refined, modern design, with an anodized aluminum chassis that gives it both robustness and elegance. The front panel is dominated by a large 6-inch LCD touchscreen, offering an intuitive and responsive interface for browsing your music libraries and controlling the device. The volume knob, which also serves as the power button, completes the overall design harmoniously.

The high-resolution 2160 x 1080 pixel display makes it possible to show detailed album artwork and information about the tracks currently playing. An original function allows you to customize the display with different VU-meter styles, adding an analog touch to this digital interface.
