The DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 is the latest version of EverSolo’s audio network player. This update brings several improvements while retaining the beloved features of its predecessor. Designed for audiophiles, this model combines advanced technology with meticulous sound quality.
At the Core of Technology: Premium Components
EverSolo has spared no effort in selecting high-quality internal components for this new generation. The DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 retains the dual ESS ES9038Q2M DAC, renowned for its audiophile performance. However, the internal architecture has been redesigned to optimize performance.
One of the major upgrades is the integration of an ultra-low-noise linear power supply, replacing the switching power supply of the previous model. This new power supply, combined with a sophisticated filtering circuit, significantly reduces background noise and enhances overall dynamics.
The clock system has also been refined, featuring high-precision Accusilicon femtosecond oscillators. These ultra-stable clocks help reduce jitter to nearly imperceptible levels, ensuring exceptionally pure sound reproduction.
Extensive Connectivity for All Uses
The DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 stands out for its versatility in connectivity. On the digital input side, it offers USB-B, coaxial, optical ports, and even an HDMI ARC input for easy connection to a TV. The outputs are equally comprehensive, with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA options to suit all types of amplifiers.
Network connectivity is also robust, with a Gigabit Ethernet port and dual-band Wi-Fi for stable, high-quality streaming. Bluetooth with support for aptX HD and LDAC codecs provides convenient wireless connectivity without compromising audio quality.
A welcome addition is the inclusion of an M.2 NVMe SSD slot, allowing easy integration of up to 4TB of internal storage for your music files.
A Redesigned User Experience
The user interface of the DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 has been completely overhauled to offer a smoother and more intuitive experience. The large 6-inch touchscreen allows for easy menu navigation and clearly displays information about the currently playing tracks, including high-resolution album covers.
The EverSolo Control mobile app, available on iOS and Android, has also received a major update. It now offers full remote control of the device, including playlist management, access to streaming services, and advanced settings adjustments.
Breathtaking Sound Performance
The improvements made to the DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 translate into exceptional sound performance. The soundstage gains in width and precision, with remarkable instrument separation. The bass is both deep and perfectly controlled, while the highs shine with their finesse and lack of harshness.
The dynamics are particularly impressive, faithfully reproducing both subtle nuances and intense passages. The extremely low background noise helps bring out micro-details, revealing previously unheard aspects of your favorite recordings.
A Versatile and Upgradable Network Player
Beyond its audiophile qualities, the DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 excels in versatility. Compatible with a wide range of audio formats, including DSD512 and MQA, it can play virtually any type of music file.
Support for major streaming services (Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, etc.) is built-in, as is compatibility with DLNA/UPnP, AirPlay 2, and Roon Ready protocols. This flexibility makes it a true audio hub capable of centralizing all your music sources.
EverSolo is also committed to regularly updating the device’s firmware, adding new features and optimizations over time. This approach ensures that your investment will remain cutting-edge for years to come.
A Refined Design in Service of Audio
The DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 2 boasts an elegant and minimalist design that fits seamlessly into any audiophile setup. Its CNC-machined aerospace-grade aluminum chassis ensures optimal rigidity and excellent heat dissipation. The sleek front panel is dominated by a large 6-inch (15 cm) touchscreen offering an intuitive and responsive interface.
The multifunction volume knob, encircled by a signature orange LED light, adds a touch of sophistication. Gold-plated finishes, including the EverSolo logo and the “Master Edition” plaque, highlight the device’s premium status.

Excellent, superb product, a few points need addressing when recording CDs to an Ssd card, you really have to search for documentation on the internet to find the right solution to the problem of recording to internal memory instead of the SSD. That said, multiple features, packed with technology.

Hello to the whole team, I'm very happy with my latest purchase. Thank you for the quick response and also for the advice. I've rediscovered music. I don't know how long it will take me to get to grips with this beast, and yes, it really is a beast. I particularly appreciate the effects with the VU meters, which give it a distinctive charm reminiscent of old equalizers.
