  • General rule
    • Position the SuperTrax slightly behind the front baffle of the loudspeaker
    • Align the acoustic center of the tweeter with that of the main driver
  • IsoFlare speakers (point source)
    • Follow the positioning chart recommendations provided by Fyne Audio
  • Speakers with separate drivers
    • Position the SuperTrax towards the front
    • Optimizes dispersion, transparency and high-frequency definition

General information

The SuperTrax is an omnidirectional super-tweeter designed to extend your audio system’s frequency response beyond the conventional audible spectrum. Its 360° dispersion enriches the soundstage by bringing more air, transparency and realism to music reproduction.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the point of a super tweeter if the ear can’t hear above 20 kHz?

A super tweeter eases the spectral load on the main tweeter and improves the overall perception of clarity and air. Extreme frequencies, even if only partially perceptible or subliminal, influence timbral quality and transparency.

Does the SuperTrax work with any speaker?

Yes, its universal design makes it compatible with all high-fidelity systems with standard impedance. Its level adjustment allows adaptation to different speaker sensitivities, although optimal use is observed with Fyne Audio products equipped with IsoFlare.

How should I position the SuperTrax in my room?

Place it slightly behind the front baffle of your main speaker to align the tweeter’s acoustic center. With IsoFlare systems, consult the manufacturer’s reference chart. For speakers with separate drivers, forward placement maximizes dispersion.

Do I need a specific amplifier to drive it?

No, any amplifier capable of delivering up to 400 W RMS is suitable. The SuperTrax integrates easily into existing systems without major electrical installation changes.

Does the cryogenic treatment of the crossover really make an audible difference?

Yes, this treatment reduces internal micro-movements in the components that can introduce subtle distortions. The effect is best assessed over extended listening sessions, where tonal coherence and the absence of listening fatigue become evident.

Can two SuperTrax units be used in a stereo setup?

Yes, using a pair in stereo deepens the soundstage and reinforces spectral extension across the entire acoustic field, especially in larger rooms.
