Floor Stand for the Sonos Era 300
Placed on a low cabinet, a Sonos Era 300 projects its bass and central vocals at knee height, while its upward-firing speaker sits too low to make good use of the ceiling. This floor stand raises it to 82 cm, at ear level for a seated listener, without drilling into a wall. The power cable disappears inside the tube, and the stand comes in both black and white, matching the speaker’s two colours.
A height set for seated listening
The Era 300 has six drivers distributed across its surface: a front-facing tweeter for vocals and the centre of the soundstage, two side-facing tweeters, an upward-firing tweeter for the height channels in Dolby Atmos tracks, and two woofers positioned on the sides. This arrangement requires space around the speaker and a height close to the listener’s ear level. At 816 mm tall, the SFS 4133 places the top of the Era 300 around 98 cm above the floor, at ear level for someone sitting on a sofa.
The top plate is just 86 mm wide. It supports the speaker from underneath without extending beyond the sides, where the woofers and side-facing tweeters are located. The stand has been acoustically tested with the Era 300: it adds neither resonance nor obstructions to the sound path.
The SFS 4133 is a fixed stand. Neither the height nor the tilt can be adjusted, and the speaker is aimed towards the listening area by turning the entire stand on the floor.
Stereo pairs, rear channels and rooms without an available wall
A single Era 300 can sit on a shelf, but a stereo pair or two rear channels behind a sofa quickly raise the question of support. Behind a compatible Sonos soundbar such as the Arc Ultra, two Era 300 speakers used as surround channels rarely find a piece of furniture at the right height and distance, and a wall is not always nearby or suitable for drilling, particularly in rented accommodation. The stand solves both problems and can be moved if the room layout changes.
The maximum load of 4.5 kg matches the weight of the Era 300 (4.47 kg). The SFS 4133 is not a universal stand: the plate, mounting hardware and load capacity are designed for this speaker alone. The stand is sold individually, so a stereo pair requires two.
A cable that stays inside the tube
The power cord runs inside the tube using the CIS (Cable Inlay System) from Vogel’s. It enters through the base and exits through a notch at the back of the cap, just below the speaker’s connector, keeping the stand looking tidy from both the front and the side. An included cable-routing tool helps pull the cable through the 34 × 44 mm tube without a struggle.
The square base, measuring 305 mm on each side, provides a firm footing for the assembly. No floor fixings are supplied: stability relies on this base and on the weight being distributed as low as possible.
Simple assembly and a five-year warranty
Assembly takes three steps. The tube attaches to the base with three M5 × 35 mm bolts, the cap and top plate with two more M5 × 35 mm bolts, then the Era 300 screws onto the plate with two M5 × 20 mm bolts. A No. 3 Allen key is supplied along with the quick installation guide. The stand is TÜV-certified and comes with a five-year warranty upon presentation of the original proof of purchase.

Frequently asked questions
Does the SFS 4133 support a Sonos Era 100 or another speaker?
No. The top plate and mounting bolts are only compatible with the Era 300. For the Era 100, Vogel’s offers the SFS 4113, a stand of the same design measuring 815 mm tall.
Should I run Trueplay tuning again once the speaker is installed on the stand?
Yes. Trueplay adjusts the Era 300’s response based on its placement and the room. A tuning performed when the speaker was sitting on a piece of furniture no longer matches its new position: it’s best to run it again from the Sonos app once the stand is in its final location.
What tools are needed for assembly?
A large Phillips screwdriver, which is not included. The No. 3 Allen key and cable guiding tool are in the box.
Can cables other than the power cord be routed through the tube?
The CIS system is designed for the Era 300’s power cord. If the speaker is fitted with a Sonos USB-C adapter (line-in or Ethernet), the corresponding cable can follow the same route if there is enough space in the tube, by threading it through before mounting the speaker.
Is the stand stable in a room where children or pets pass through?
The base, measuring 30.5 cm on each side, provides good stability, but the stand is not secured to the floor. In a busy area, placing it out of the way of foot traffic, against a corner of a sofa or behind it, reduces the risk of bumps.
What does TÜV certification guarantee?
TÜV is an independent German testing organization. Its certification confirms that the stand has passed safety and mechanical strength tests, including the maximum load of 4.5 kg.
What does the five-year warranty cover?
It covers manufacturing defects in the stand for five years from the date of purchase. Original proof of purchase is required for any claim: keep the invoice.
