This model stands out with its capacity to hold up to 6 discs, offering an extended listening experience without interruption. The ultra-quiet loading mechanism allows you to change up to 5 discs while the sixth is playing, ensuring perfect musical continuity.
Compatible with standard audio CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3 files, the DX-C390 adapts to a wide range of media, meeting the varied needs of music lovers. Its versatility makes it an ideal choice for those with a diverse collection of discs and audio files.
At the heart of the DX-C390 is a suite of advanced audio technologies that guarantee exceptional sound quality. Onkyo’s VLSC (Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry) is the centerpiece of this player. This technology continuously samples and links audio data through real-time analog smoothing, producing a perfectly coherent output waveform free from transient noise.
The Vector Quantizer Audio (VQA) conversion technology further enhances the precision of sound reproduction. Combined with the Multi-Bit 32-bit / 384 kHz converter and the digital filter with 128x oversampling, it ensures audio playback of remarkable fidelity. The Direct Digital Path, a high-quality shielded cable, protects the audio signal from surrounding interference, preserving sound purity.
The DX-C390 not only offers superior audio quality but also a range of features designed to enhance the listening experience. The 40-track programming allows users to create custom playlists, while the six repeat modes offer increased flexibility in how you listen to your music.
The random play function adds an element of surprise to the listening experience, perfect for rediscovering your music collection. Direct track access via the RI (Remote Interactive) remote control makes navigating albums and playlists easy.
The DX-C390 is equipped with optical and coaxial digital outputs, allowing easy integration into larger digital audio systems. These connectivity options ensure lossless audio signal transmission, preserving the original sound quality.
The fixed analog output offers additional flexibility for connection to analog amplifiers or preamplifiers, adapting to a variety of audio configurations.
The technical specifications of the DX-C390 testify to its exceptional audio performance. With a frequency response of 5 Hz to 20 kHz, it covers the entire human audible spectrum. The extremely low total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.004% at 1 kHz ensures pure and faithful sound reproduction.
The dynamic range of 98 dB and the signal-to-noise ratio of 107 dB ensure exceptional clarity, allowing you to perceive the subtlest nuances of music. Wow and flutter are below the measurable threshold, guaranteeing perfect playback stability.
The DX-C390 is compatible with standard audio CDs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, and MP3 files burned onto CDs. This versatility allows it to play a wide range of discs and audio formats.
Onkyo is renowned for the quality and durability of its products. While the exact lifespan depends on usage and maintenance, the reading mechanism of the DX-C390 is designed to provide many years of reliable service.
Yes, thanks to its optical and coaxial digital outputs, the DX-C390 can easily integrate into a modern home theater system. These connections allow for the transmission of digital audio signals without quality loss.
