BC13 Midrange-Tweeter Speaker

The heart of the TC23 triaxial speaker that equips our reference system La Sphère, this second version of the BC13 (the first version equipped the TC22) has been improved to optimize its performance in 2-way coaxial use.

The bandwidth is more extended, the efficiency and power handling further improved thanks to new motors providing a 30% gain in force factor. The spatial coherence of the BC13 not only guarantees perfect timbre fidelity without artifice or listening fatigue, but also an unrivaled depth and realism of the sound image.

17MD18LR2 Woofer

The 17 cm woofers of the Egea 3 are an evolution of the Bahia’s woofers. They are equipped with a Duocell diaphragm designed by Cabasse and made by Cabasse robots. Very light but very rigid, perfectly damped, this exponential profile diaphragm with variable thickness allows to maximize the dynamic qualities of the long stroke motors with high force factor and brings all the precision and liveliness necessary to respect the live sound.

Variable Slope Crossovers

The anechoic chamber measurement protocol set up by Cabasse takes into account on-axis and 360° measurements for perfect control of directivity and total radiated power, in accordance with SCS principles. It allows, in parallel with numerous listening sessions in rooms with different acoustics, to fine-tune the crossovers. They have cutoff slopes varying from 6 to 24 dB per octave with a perfect consideration of the cabinet shape and total respect for the intrinsic qualities of our coaxial speakers.
