Audeze Maxwell 2 (Hi-fi headphones and earphones)
Audeze has been making planar magnetic headphones in California since 2009. The Maxwell 2 brings this expertise into the world of wireless gaming.
The 90 mm drivers are three times larger than those in typical gaming headsets. This surface area allows for an extended frequency response from 10 Hz to 50 kHz, well beyond the standard audible spectrum. The new SLAM (Symmetric Linear Acoustic Modulator) technology delivers up to 6 dB of additional bass, addressing a key weakness of the first Maxwell according to user feedback.
On the connectivity side: wireless USB-C dongle with 24-bit/96 kHz and minimal latency, Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC and LE Audio, or a 3.5 mm analog cable. Battery life exceeds 80 hours, with 24 hours of play time recovered in just 20 minutes of charging.
The ventilated headband and magnetic earpads have been redesigned for long sessions. The ReSkin system lets you swap out the side plates of the headset. The microphone features AI noise reduction with twice the bandwidth of the previous model.
The Maxwell 2 is available in PlayStation and Xbox versions, both compatible with PC, Mac, Switch, and mobile devices.
