Supra ZAC TosLink (Optical Digital Cables (Fiber))
ZAC: three letters for “Zero Attenuation Concept.” This principle guides the design of Supra ZAC TosLink optical cables, manufactured in Sweden by Jenving Technology. The idea is simple: eliminate all light signal loss, even over long distances.
The secret lies in the patented three-step polishing of the fiber end. A specific curvature of the optical core eliminates divergence losses, allowing a Japanese plastic fiber to achieve the transmission quality of a glass fiber, while retaining flexibility and mechanical strength. Bandwidth is guaranteed up to 32-bit/384 kHz, including on the 20-meter versions.
Complete galvanic isolation eliminates ground loop problems between devices (TV, amplifier, PC) connected to different electrical circuits. No sensitivity to electromagnetic fields, no stray emissions. The metal-body TosLink connectors incorporate a spring clamp for a stable connection.
The range is available in several versions: standard TosLink/TosLink, Mini TosLink for portable DACs and headphone outputs, or hybrid versions. Available lengths from 0.3 to 20 meters.
