Audioquest JAWS C13 (Power Cables)

The JAWS C13 takes its place in the AudioQuest range just above the Monsoon, whose principles it takes further. Its conductors are made entirely of PSC+ copper (Perfect-Surface Copper+), a metallurgical quality that the brand reserves for its higher-end models. AudioQuest has chosen fewer but thicker strands, which reduces interactions between wires and allows for a cleaner current flow.

ZERO-Tech technology, found on the brand’s upper-tier series, eliminates the cable’s characteristic impedance and lets transients pass without compression. In listening, this results in a quieter background and better-controlled attacks. The four-layer shielding incorporates graphene to dissipate high-frequency radio noise, an audible flaw on highly resolving systems where the slightest interference can mask details.

With its 18 mm diameter and standard IEC-C13 connector, the JAWS powers integrated amplifiers, network players, DACs, or power conditioners. It is a cable to consider when the amplification and sources are already at the right level and the power supply becomes the last link to address.
