Mofi Electronics UltraDeck (Hi-fi, Bluetooth or vintage vinyl turntables)

Assembled technical specifications for French product presentation MoFi Electronics was born from a simple idea: Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, a label specializing in reference pressings for more than forty years, knew exactly how a record should sound. All that remained was to design the turntable capable of reproducing it. The UltraDeck is the result of this logic, developed with Allen Perkins, the designer of Spiral Groove turntables, and manufactured in MoFi’s Michigan factory.

The construction leaves nothing to chance. The 33 mm Delrin platter weighs more than 3 kg: this polymer offers mechanical impedance close to that of vinyl, which reduces unwanted resonances on contact with the record. The chassis layers three aluminum plates bonded to an MDF body to gain mass and neutrality. The 300 rpm synchronous motor is decoupled from the plinth, and the anti-vibration feet were developed with Harmonic Resolution Systems.

The Ultra tonearm, a straight 10-inch gimbal-bearing model, is internally wired by Cardas Audio up to the gold-plated RCA connectors. Tracking force, vertical tracking angle, azimuth, and anti-skating are all adjustable. The UltraDeck supports several MoFi cartridges factory-mounted (UltraTracker, MasterTracker, or UltraGold MC) or can be ordered without a cartridge to install your own.
