Mofi Electronics MasterDeck (Hi-fi, Bluetooth or vintage vinyl turntables)
The MasterDeck is MoFi Electronics’ reference turntable, born from the work of Allen Perkins, an analog designer for more than forty years (Spiral Groove, Immedia RPM). Assembled in small batches in Ann Arbor, Michigan, it distills decades of research on vinyl playback into a compact yet massive format: 17 kg on the scale.
Its 10-inch carbon fiber tonearm, longer than the market-standard 9-inch arm, combines the principles of the unipivot and gimbal designs for groove tracking that is both precise and stable. Removable headshell, internal Cardas Audio wiring, full adjustments (azimuth, VTA, overhang, antiskating): every parameter is adjustable to suit a wide range of cartridges. The 6.5 kg hybrid aluminum/Delrin platter spins on a Spiral Groove patented inverted bearing, belt-driven via a brushless three-phase motor regulated by an optical sensor. Three speeds (33, 45, and 78 rpm) with fine adjustment on a digital display: 78s have not been forgotten. The feet developed with Harmonic Resolution Systems isolate the turntable from vibrations across 5.5 degrees of freedom.
