Audioquest Rocket 22 SBW (Speaker Cables & Wires, Assembled)

The Rocket 22 is the more robust of AudioQuest’s two Rocket Series speaker cables, a step above the Rocket 11: 12 AWG (3.31 mm²) gauge and 20% lower impedance. This SBW version comes configured for single bi-wiring, with one pair of connectors on the amplifier side and two pairs on the speaker side, separating bass current from treble current when the speaker has separate terminals.

The conductors combine two proprietary copper types, Perfect-Surface Copper and Long-Grain Copper, purer than standard OFHC copper and with fewer grain boundaries that distort the signal. They use a concentric semi-solid strand geometry: few strands, large and fixed in position, limiting interactions between them. The two conductors in each half are twisted to reduce inductance and clarify the upper frequency range. The assembly direction is controlled to reduce high-frequency noise.
