Lumene Coliseum Silent Extra Bright LT (ALR Screens for Long-Throw Projection)

In a living room, complete darkness is rare, and even a single lamp washes out the projected image. Lumene’s Extra Bright LT screen addresses this with an ALR (ambient light rejecting) surface that blocks more than 85% of stray light while reflecting light from a long-throw projector mounted on the ceiling or at the back of the room toward viewers. Blacks retain their depth and colours their richness, with a gain of 1.2, 99% colour reproduction and a 140° viewing angle that accommodates seats off to the side. This screen is designed exclusively for long-throw projectors and is not compatible with triple RGB laser models.

The Silent generation overhauls the entire mechanism. The 20 W DC motor, operating below 50 dB, starts and stops smoothly to protect the screen, which is tensioned at the edges to keep it flat. The limits can be adjusted electronically to suit the room. The white aluminium housing, sealed and earthed to prevent dust buildup, mounts on a wall or ceiling using new L-shaped brackets. Control options include infrared, 433 MHz radio, a 12 V trigger, dry contacts, and RS-232 and RS-485 for home automation. The range includes six diagonal sizes, from 92 to 180 inches.
