BENQ W4100i
The BenQ W4100i is a high-end home cinema projector designed to deliver a precise and bright 4K image, thanks to a next-generation 4LED light source and AI-assisted image processing.
It uses a 0.65-inch DMD chip with XPR3 pixel shifting technology, displaying 8.3 million pixels for UHD resolution. Its brightness reaches 3200 ANSI lumens, with 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 and Rec.709 color spaces. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG formats.
Among its major innovations, the AI Cinema mode dynamically adjusts colors, contrast, and sharpness based on the projected content. The HDR-PRO processing divides the image into over 1,000 zones for precise dynamic range management, while Dynamic Black technology enhances perceived contrast.
The W4100i is equipped with a glass lens featuring 1.3x zoom and lens shift (60% vertical, ±15% horizontal), allowing flexible installation without compromising image quality. It offers three HDMI 2.1 ports, including one compatible with 4K 120 Hz (displayed in 1080p 120 Hz), with eARC for multichannel audio management, including Dolby Atmos.
For multimedia use, the projector integrates Android TV 11 via an included dongle, providing access to 4K HDR streaming platforms. It also supports AirPlay, Google Cast, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi.
For gamers, the W4100i offers excellent responsiveness: 6.5 ms in 1080p at 240 Hz and 17.9 ms in 4K at 60 Hz, with automatic detection of low latency mode (ALLM).
Compared to its predecessor, the W4000i, it stands out with increased brightness, more efficient HDR tone mapping, improved software stability, slightly reduced operating noise, and a 3-year warranty.
