What is the VESA standard?

VESA (Video Electronics Standards Association) aims to define a common standard among all flat screen brands to help you choose your mount based on the size of your screen. Simply measure the distance between the threaded holes on the horizontal and vertical parts at the back of your screen (see diagram below) to determine your VESA standard and select the appropriate mount.

Examples:

The distance between the horizontal holes is 400 mm and the vertical holes is 400 mm: your VESA standard will therefore be 400 × 400.

The distance between the horizontal holes is 200 mm and the vertical holes is 100 mm: your VESA standard will therefore be 200 × 100.

Wall mounts

There are several types of TV wall mounts to save space on your furniture: fixed mounts or swivel mounts (left/right) to enjoy optimal positioning of your TV.

Be mindful of how your mount is fixed to your wall:

• For plasterboard walls: opt for a fixed mount offering a larger fixing surface to avoid weakening your wall, or use chemical anchoring behind the plasterboard to reinforce your installation. This will allow you to use any type of mount, fixed or swivel.
• For concrete, brick, or stone walls: you can choose any type of mount, fixed or swivel.
