Kenwood Electronics is a Japanese brand founded in 1946 (under the name Kasuga Radio Co.), originally specializing in hi-fi audio and amateur radio. It became renowned for its amplifiers, car stereos, and communication equipment, and merged with JVC in 2008 to form JVCKENWOOD Corporation, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Today, the group is active in automotive electronics, professional communications, and home audio.
