Japanese manufacturer Epson, a specialist in 3LCD video projectors, is marketing the EH-LS10000, their first 4K Laser projector using a dual laser as a light source and equipped with their 4K enhancement technology.
The manufacturer uses a wobulation system similar to E-Shift to simulate a 4K image. Technically, the display is the result of 1080p LCoS matrices from Epson combined with a processor, patented by Epson, whose purpose is to electronically control a wobulation process.
This consists of the extremely rapid display of two Full HD images offset from each other by half a pixel diagonally to create 8,294,400 pixels, a number equal to that of an Ultra HD image. This improves contours, eliminates aliasing, and increases contrast, with precision and sharpness far superior to a Full HD image.
The EH-LS10000 is also 3D compatible and offers 2D/3D conversion. It features a fairly significant lens shift, a motorized lens with zoom memory, a motion compensator, an ISF calibration mode, a brightness of 1,500 lm, and most importantly, an announced lifespan of 30,000 hours in eco mode.
Connectivity consists of two HDMI inputs (including one MHL), one component video input, one RGB input, and a USB port.

The results are in, and Epson has made the wish of many home theater enthusiasts come true with a 4K laser projector using wobulation technology that manages to offer superb image quality and a real compromise between light output and deep contrast. The LS10000 also shines with its natural color reproduction, even having the luxury of being the consumer display (including TVs) currently closest to the DCI standard.

It was supposed to be delivered on a wrapped and strapped pallet, received in its original box!! Despite everything, the package was received in good condition... otherwise, nothing to say... superb device.
Pros: stunning images.
Cons: not easy to adjust for an amateur.

An excellent sharpness, an astonishing light output, a very high-contrast image, perfect color accuracy, magnificent black levels, truly pleasant fluidity without any jerkiness on fast panning shots, a successful and futuristic design, no noise, good depth of field, enormous motorized adjustment options, no lamp issues, and a long-lasting laser light source that should lose brightness slowly and linearly... What else?
Pros: A reference projector.
Cons: The price is a bit high.
