The new CX range replaces the highly popular Azur line, bringing with it improved performance and an even more elegant aluminum design. The chassis of each component has also been redesigned to reduce resonance and provide a purer musical experience. This new range takes a step forward in digital audio, as evidenced by the network connection on most of the components, the new Cambridge app, and the integration of Bluetooth.

The entire new CX range was designed in Cambridge’s offices in the United Kingdom, leveraging all of its experience and expertise to create the best systems.

The CX integrated amplifiers have been designed to extract every detail from your music, regardless of genre. You will undoubtedly appreciate a new musical dimension. Their toroidal power supply is ideal for this purpose as it limits magnetic leakage and is positioned away from the preamplification circuits to further reduce energy disturbances.

Just like the CXA60 amplifier, you will have the ability to connect any type of transport, whether digital or analog, thanks to the integrated DAC and especially the choice of available inputs. In addition to the RCA, TosLink, or Bluetooth inputs found on the A60, you can take advantage of an asynchronous USB input to connect your computer and enjoy better musicality. Balanced XLR inputs are also available on the CXA80.

The integrated Wolfson DAC demonstrates Cambridge’s commitment to offering quality audiophile products.

The CXA80 amplifier not only offers higher power than its younger sibling, with a power per channel of 80W into 8 Ω, but also an even more audiophile construction thanks to a dual-mono design. The channels are separated right from the power supply for more efficient separate amplification.

Finally, the new CAP5 protection will safeguard your system in case of failure, electrical incident, or even in case of a configuration error.
