Denon is one of the few audio brands that has continued to actively develop Hi-Fi components, perfect them, and continually redefine its Hi-Fi audio technologies. The DCD-1600NE player has been designed as the pinnacle of CD players: it reads discs with extreme precision and transmits superior quality audio signals to the amplifier.

To achieve this, signal paths have been minimized and the entire circuit has been optimized. The engineers have also redesigned the drive mechanism supports and the chassis to eliminate vibrations, the greatest enemy of any CD player, and to create a chassis that is completely impervious to vibrations. Thanks to its ultra-precise and clean reading of the disc, signals of extreme perfection are sent to the advanced AL32 Processing Plus circuitry of the DCD-1600NE player.

In addition to playing CDs and Super Audio CDs, the DCD player can play 24/192 PCM or 5.6 DSD audio media burned to a DVD R/RW for great flexibility and better access to high-resolution sound.
