Krell Vanguard Digital

KRELL is pleased to announce the birth of its brand new Vanguard integrated amplifier. The KRELL Vanguard features a 200 W per channel power stage and a Class A preamplifier in a new, superbly designed chassis.

A digital module with USB, HDMI, coaxial and optical inputs as well as Ethernet audio streaming and Bluetooth apt-X will also be available as an option. An iOS and Android app allows wireless control of audio streaming and Vanguard operating parameters.

The Vanguard’s amplifier boasts a massive 750 VA toroidal transformer and no less than 80,000 microfarads of filter capacity. Its very high available power offers more than 200 W per channel into 8 Ω and more than 400 W into 4 ohms. Two thermostatically controlled silent fans allow the use of a surprisingly compact chassis.

The Vanguard’s display screen menus allow various settings, renaming sources or adjusting input gain, etc. A Theater Throughput mode allows easy integration into a home theater system to fully enjoy its power and sound quality on the main speakers.

The optional digital module adds a coaxial digital input, an optical input, two HDMI inputs and an HDMI output.
