EISA Awards: Award-Winning Product
Each year, dozens of European journalists gather to select the best electronic products of the year. Awarded by a diverse and impartial jury, the EISA (Expert Imaging and Sound Association) awards recognize exceptional products for their performance, design, or ergonomics.
Overview
The HEOS 1 system is a compact portable speaker that delivers surprisingly powerful sound. Stream music from the cloud or local files using the intuitive HEOS app for iOS, Android, and Kindle. The compact enclosure includes two custom speakers: a woofer and a dome tweeter. It is moisture-resistant, making it perfect for use in humid environments like bathrooms.
The HEOS 1 speaker features advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, allowing it to reproduce a wide audio range with custom equalization for a natural, smooth tonal balance. It also has Class D digital audio amplification for both channels.

I use them as portable speakers and as surround speakers for home theater.
