We had been waiting for it for a long time, and the reviews were so glowing that we were afraid of being disappointed, but we weren’t! The new AMBEO soundbar immerses you in the three-dimensional 5.1.4 sound space with an incredibly deep low-frequency response down to 30 Hz, all creating a multifunctional device without the need for an external subwoofer or amplifier.
This soundbar is very large, very tall (13.5 cm), and encroaches on the TV screen if you place it at the foot of a screen, much like the center speaker of a 5.1 system. Of course, there are solutions for this, such as raising the TV with a wall mount. Apart from its bulkiness, it is elegant and well-finished. The mix of brushed aluminum and details like a small Ambeo logo on the front, adjustable in intensity, adds a nice touch to the overall design. It feels like quality before you even listen to it.

Our expectations were immense, and Sennheiser has delivered. Yes, the Ambeo Soundbar is indeed the jaw-dropping experience we hoped for. Admittedly, its colossal size is matched only by its staggering price of €2,500 — to which you can add a few hundred euros more for a good subwoofer if you wish to scrupulously respect the rules of the art. Nevertheless, at this price point, you simply won't find any better domestic 3D sound solution. A commanding demonstration of expertise that ultimately proves quite reasonable.

Very good product but:
- I had very great difficulty installing it, no doubt because of my age (89 years old)
- performance inferior to my previous setup (amp+7 speakers)
