STAX SR-009S

The MLER (Multi-Layer-Elect-Rords) fixed multi-layer electrode used on the SR-009 has evolved into MLER 2. The finishing and etching process that smooths the edge of the electrode opening reduces air resistance and further improves sound permeability. In addition, the electrodes themselves are gold-plated with a high specific density to minimize the resonance of the ultra-thin electrode. At the same time, thanks to the effect of reducing the electrical resistance of the electrode itself by gold plating, we have evolved the speed, clarity, silky details and texture to a new level of performance.

Aluminum is a good metal for sound and an appropriate material for audio equipment. It is abundantly used to obtain high quality sound, rigidity and lightness. Almost all parts of the SR-009 are manufactured by precise machining.
