Very satisfied, I was coming from a Paradigm v8 sub and I must say that SVS is far superior.

Each year, dozens of European journalists gather to select the best electronic products of the year. Awarded by a diverse and impartial jury, the EISA (Expert Imaging and Sound Association) awards recognize exceptional products for their performance, design, or ergonomics.
The SVS SB-1000 PRO is a compact subwoofer designed to deliver enhanced performance compared to its predecessor, the SB-1000. This sealed-box model offers improvements in power, control, and sound reproduction.
The SB-1000 PRO stands out for its particularly compact size for a 12-inch subwoofer. With dimensions of just 34.3 x 33 x 37.5 cm, it fits easily into most interiors. Weighing only 11.9 kg, it’s also easy to move and position. Its Piano Gloss Black finish gives it an elegant, high-end look that complements a variety of décor styles.
Despite its small size, the SB-1000 PRO is equipped with a Sledge STA-325D Class D amplifier capable of delivering 325W RMS and up to 820W peak power. This generous output allows it to produce deep, impactful bass, even in medium-sized rooms.
At the heart of the SB-1000 PRO is a newly designed 12-inch driver developed by SVS. This transducer features a lightweight yet rigid composite fiber cone, paired with an optimized suspension system to enable significant excursions while maintaining excellent control. The powerful magnetic motor ensures fast and precise transient response.
The amplification is managed by a sophisticated Analog Devices Audio 50 MHz DSP. This processor enables high-precision digital filtering and offers extensive fine-tuning options. The SB-1000 PRO delivers an extended and linear frequency response, capable of reaching as low as 20 Hz with a tolerance of +/- 3 dB.
One of the standout features of the SB-1000 PRO is the integration of the SVS mobile app. This free app, available for iOS and Android, allows you to control all the subwoofer’s settings from a smartphone or tablet. The intuitive interface provides access to volume adjustment, low-pass filter settings (with hertz-level precision), phase control, and a 3-band parametric equalizer.
This wireless connectivity greatly simplifies the setup and optimization of the subwoofer in your room. You can adjust settings in real-time from your listening position to achieve the best possible integration with your main speakers.
The SB-1000 PRO excels in both music reproduction and cinematic effects. Its extended frequency response allows it to authoritatively reproduce the lowest notes of acoustic instruments like double bass or organ. Fans of electronic music will appreciate its ability to deliver punchy, well-defined synthetic bass lines.
For home theater, the SB-1000 PRO delivers impressive physical impact during action scenes. Its speed and precision let you feel explosions and special effects with realism, without lag or audible distortion. The subwoofer remains perfectly controlled even at high volumes.
Compared to its predecessor, the SB-1000 PRO offers significant improvements across the board. The amplifier’s power has increased from 300W to 325W RMS, with a much higher peak capacity. The new driver provides enhanced performance, particularly in terms of maximum excursion.
The addition of the DSP and mobile app represents a major leap forward in flexibility and precision. The original SB-1000 only featured basic analog controls. The frequency response has also been extended, with the lower limit improved from 24 Hz to 20 Hz.
Finally, the design has been slightly updated for a more modern look, including a sleeker magnetic grille. Overall, the SB-1000 PRO represents a substantial upgrade that fully justifies its position in the SVS lineup.
Yes, its musical qualities make it an excellent choice to complement a pair of bookshelf or floor-standing speakers in a stereo setup. The app makes integration and precise crossover adjustments easy.
The SB-1000 PRO is a sealed-box model, while the PB-1000 PRO is a ported (bass-reflex) model. The SB-1000 PRO is more compact and offers faster response, while the PB-1000 PRO can reach slightly lower frequencies.
Absolutely, using multiple subwoofers can provide a more uniform response throughout the room and increase maximum sound pressure levels. The SVS app makes configuring multi-subwoofer systems easy.
A brief break-in period may slightly enhance performance, but the SB-1000 PRO delivers excellent results straight out of the box. Around 10 hours of use is typically enough to achieve optimal performance.

I bought myself a new HiFi system some time ago, and I looked for good-quality equipment. However, despite a substantial investment, there was a little something bothering me. My floorstanding speakers lacked a bit of presence below 35-40 Hertz. After reading a few reviews praising the merits of a subwoofer, not only for home theater (essential), but also for wifi, I found overall very positive comments about this model from SVS. (An American brand specializing in these products)
So I invested in this SBS-1000 Pro, and I'm delighted with it.
I was able to find that little extra I was missing: bass reproduction worthy of the name.
Beautiful build quality, easy adjustments via the dedicated app (In English....but not very difficult to translate), although the latter do still require a bit of guidance, which you can easily find on the internet. And once you hear the result, you will never go back. Listening takes on a whole new dimension.
You can place this subwoofer practically anywhere in the room, and if it is visible, the lacquered finish, despite a somewhat higher price, makes the object very attractive.
For me, it's a safe bet.

Hello, this is my first subwoofer. I can't make any comparison with other brands, but my impression is more than satisfactory after 4 months of use. A small subwoofer considering the size that delivers bass like that makes the windows of my apartment shake. On some films like bladerunner, I am forced to lower my preset level on my smartphone. The movement of the cone is impressive. Watch out for the neighbors
