On the manufacturing side, these are very beautiful speakers. On the technical feat side, there is work to be done. In terms of sound, I think they are very good for home cinema, but on the Hi-Fi side, look elsewhere.
They are beautiful and powerful, with deep audible bass. The sound is energetic, you can crank up the watts and they deliver. Personally, I did not like their sound or timbre which emphasizes the mids and muffles the highs, which top out at 7 kHz maximum. You have to listen to them, you either like them or you don't. After all, it's subjective depending on the equipment used.
