Regarding the TCL 55C727, this model is intended for gaming and the TV is clearly very good. The image with the native 100 Hz immediately offers excellent fluidity, regardless of the source, without noticeable light persistence - perfect after a few adjustments.
For PC gaming, there's nothing to complain about. Having 4 HDMI ports, including 2 offering the 2.1 standard, is great. However, as a retro gaming purist, I also want to use my old consoles like Megadrive, Super Nintendo, Famicom... but there's no SCART socket available, which is sacrilege for a gaming TV. Having no other option, I figured the RCA AV port would do, but TCL sacrilegiously uses a proprietary 3.5mm jack that is not included. So it will be impossible for you to connect an RCA device without buying the necessary adapter separately. I want to point out a major marketing issue on TCL's part here. Knowing that this cable is worth no more than 2 euros, I find it very stingy not to include it by default. It doesn't look good for a gaming screen.
The Google TV part is well designed but offers too much Asian content, and 3/4 of the content is riddled with ads every 2 minutes, which is simply ruined by advertising. This is very problematic, but fortunately I'm not a fan of streaming and the screen will serve more as a secondary PC monitor for running my emulators.
An effort will also have to be made to optimize the RAM allocated to Android. Without any gaming apps, I only have 800 MB available out of the original 3 GB, which is really far too little for MMOs available on the Play Store like Lineage II Revolution.
The remote controls provided are functional and well thought out. They're simple while giving access to the most important functions. Very good.
The sound is amazing, although with Onkyo we could only expect a very good rendering. The bass is excellent, providing a real auditory pleasure.
Well done TCL for this model that has room for improvement.

3 software problems detected in the first half-day of use (Had to factory reset every time I wanted to use Netflix or another smart TV service). Otherwise, nice screen for the price. Unfortunately, I do not recommend it.
