Grado The Reference 3

Although similar to its younger brother in some respects, the Reference3 has a much longer build time as it undergoes extremely unique processes that only a few of our cartridges undergo. This longer and more complex practice produces a more colorful and deeper sound.

Grado has modified their four-piece OTL cantilever technology to achieve a 10% reduction in tip mass compared to the Prestige series and use ultra-high purity long crystal oxygen-free copper (UHPLC) wire in the coils. The Platinum3 uses a specially designed elliptical diamond by Grado.

Grado has combined newly developed winding techniques with decades-old disciplines. A new two-step shielding process brings not only exact unison between the four coils, but a clear path for a cleaner signal.
