The Rotel Diamond Series RA-6000 integrated amplifier celebrates 60 years of expertise, passion, performance, and values that symbolize the iconic Japanese tradition of the brand. The RA-6000 supports a wide range of modern and legacy sources with RCA inputs (3), XLR, a moving magnet phono stage for vinyl enthusiasts, wireless aptX HD and AAC Bluetooth, coaxial (3), optical (3), and asynchronous PC-USB inputs.
Ideally housed in the elegant industrial design of the Diamond Series, the RA-6000 delivers a robust 350W of Class AB power into 4-ohm speakers. An in-house manufactured toroidal transformer powers all main circuits via high-efficiency slit foil capacitors with optimized low equivalent series resistance (ESR) to provide ripple-free current and power reserves with exceptionally rich, deep, and controlled bass power delivery.
Physical and electrical isolation techniques are employed in the digital and high-gain amplifier circuits to reduce noise in the highly sensitive analog stages, further eliminating any undesirable distortion and lowering the noise floor.
Digital sources are processed through a premium Texas Instruments 32-bit/384kHz digital-to-analog converter to extract the finest acoustic nuances for immersion in the sound stage. Coaxial and optical inputs support 24-bit/192kHz PCM audio. The PC-USB input allows playback of high-resolution audio files up to 32-bit/384kHz, supports MQA and MQA Studio decoding and rendering, and is fully Roon Tested certified for optimal compatibility with Roon software.
Front panel controls, a backlit infrared remote control, and a 2-line display enable intuitive operation of the unit.
Ethernet and RS232 inputs, 12V trigger, and external remote ensure simplified integration with all current control systems.
The RA-6000 manages to be precise without being exuberant, allowing it to effortlessly play absolutely any musical style. Perfect amplifier (powerful and refined sound) that meets my expectations. One downside is the LCD screen, which is too small and not perfectly readable from a distance.
