The Paradigm XR 13 is a subwoofer designed to deliver exceptional audio quality with its 330 mm driver featuring a trilinear suspension system and Active Ridge Technology (ART). The XR 13 allows maximum projection without distortion, offering a 3 dB increase in sound power with a 50% reduction in audible distortion compared to speakers equipped with standard suspensions.

The XR 13 is equipped with a built-in 2,200 W RMS (4,400 W dynamic peak) Class D amplifier that can be controlled via a smartphone app, providing quick and easy access to all XR sound settings and adjustments, such as volume, phase, low-pass filter, DSP mode, and much more. Additionally, Anthem Room Correction (ARC) is included, allowing users to control and adjust the subwoofer’s performance.

Moreover, the custom 5cm thick MDF front baffle adds extra rigidity to the cabinet and serves as the necessary backbone to withstand the brutal forces of the massive woofer and magnet inside. Thanks to this clever design, the XR speakers deliver exceptional sound quality.

It’s easy to get powerful bass from a massive speaker, but it takes a lot of engineering to achieve this level of performance from such a small size. That’s why, to maximize the performance-to-size ratio of the XR series, Paradigm engineers opted for a vertical mounting system that allows more woofer to be installed in the same space while controlling the subwoofer’s footprint.
