Out of the box, there’s no doubt: it’s hefty, solid.
Once plugged in, getting the hang of it takes a bit of focus with the menus and the logic of the settings.
Then comes calibration (with a computer), which is quite simple.
And finally the test... first, plenty of power that makes the speakers react like never before, high volume yet the sound stays clear without being harsh, exceptional bass management, and an incredible sense of immersion. (The Dune soundtrack is phenomenal).
A high-end piece of gear made affordable thanks to the sale. Pure bliss!!!

It replaces a super-powerful Onkyo 5007... the sound is more beautiful, more detailed, and better distributed, at the cost of limited but sufficient power.
