This is a good stylus. It provides a lot of tonal color and is pure in music. The high and mid tones, yes, and even the bass are reproduced faithfully.

Excellent cartridge, very detailed without any harshness, nice openness, height, depth, bass that goes low with good punch. A really great discovery.
My other cartridge is an Audio-Technica 50 SH, which is slightly more “analog” but lacks detail and openness… compared with the Ortofon Black.
