The Heco Direkt Premium speakers represent the evolution of an iconic model from the German brand, combining retro design with modern technologies to deliver an immersive sound experience.

Sophisticated Acoustic Design

At the heart of the Direkt Premium is a 275 mm diameter woofer-midrange driver. Its long-fiber kraft paper cone provides rigidity and lightness for precise reproduction of bass and midrange frequencies. A 30 mm silk dome tweeter handles the high frequencies.

The crossover has been meticulously designed to ensure a smooth transition between bass and treble. High-quality, low-tolerance components guarantee reliability and consistent performance over time.

The internal wiring uses oxygen-free copper conductors with very low impedance for the bass, while the treble benefits from a twisted low-inductance cable for clear and precise high-frequency reproduction.

A Reimagined Vintage Design

The Heco Direkt Premium draws aesthetic inspiration from the 1970s with its elegant two-tone cabinet. The front panel is available in either black lacquer or matte satin white finish, paired with a genuine walnut central insert. Rounded edges add an extra touch of refinement.

The cabinet is tilted 6° backward to optimize sound directionality toward the listener. An invisible magnetic mounting system allows for easy installation of removable protective grilles on the bass and treble drivers.

Three sturdy metal legs ensure the speaker’s stability while allowing optimal weight distribution thanks to their three-point mounting. Interchangeable metal spikes and rubber pads are included to suit all types of flooring.

Outstanding Sound Performance

With a high sensitivity of 94 dB and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms, the Direkt Premium pairs easily with a wide range of amplifiers, including low-power tube models.

Its frequency response ranges from 25 Hz to 33 kHz, enabling authoritative reproduction of the entire audible spectrum. The generous cabinet volume (78 liters) and downward-facing bass-reflex ports contribute to deep and powerful bass.

The Heco Fluktus tweeter features an aluminum front plate and a “Wave-Control” horn geometry for wide and even treble dispersion. A dual magnetic system ensures detailed high-frequency reproduction.

A tweeter intensity adjustment (+2 dB or linear) allows customization of the response based on room acoustics or listener preferences.

Meticulous Craftsmanship in Every Detail

The high-density MDF cabinet features numerous internal reinforcements to minimize vibrations and unwanted resonances. Carefully positioned braces strengthen the structure for clear, uncolored sound, even at high volumes.
