Frequently Asked Questions

What is the main difference between the Phantom Ultimate and the previous Phantom I 108 dB?

The Phantom Ultimate benefits from a processor four times more powerful, completely redesigned speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Google Cast and Tidal Connect in addition to existing protocols. The frequency response now extends up to 35 kHz versus 27 kHz previously, with distortion rate divided by five. The new DOS 3 system also brings AVL for automatic volume normalization and three optimized listening modes.

Can different Phantom models be mixed in multiroom?

Multiroom works with all Phantom I, II, and Ultimate models, allowing audio zones to be created throughout the house. However, for a stereo pair, two identical speakers are required (same model and same power). It is therefore impossible to pair an Ultimate 108 dB with a 98 dB or previous generation in stereo.

How does HBI technology work to reach 14 Hz?

HBI perfectly synchronizes the movement of the two side woofers that work in phase opposition. When one pushes outward, the other pulls inward, creating compression/decompression of internal air that generates extremely low pressure waves. This technique enables reaching infra-bass frequencies impossible with conventional speakers of this size.

Is the remote control essential?

The integrated touch interface and smartphone app allow complete control of essential functions. However, the Remote V2 provides additional comfort for frequent volume adjustments or track changes without having to take out your phone. It becomes particularly practical in home cinema configuration or during parties.

How does the Ultimate 108 dB compare to traditional speakers?

With 108 dB SPL and a 14 Hz to 35 kHz response, the Phantom Ultimate rivals traditional hi-fi systems costing several times its price and occupying ten times more space. ADH technology offers the musicality of a Class A amplifier with Class D efficiency, while SAM guarantees precision that only the most expensive studio monitors usually achieve.
