Very good workmanship. A little expensive, which is why I’m deducting one star.

The Questyle Sigma, with its aluminum chassis and optical glass window exposing the internal circuits, deserves a case that matches its premium finish. This custom-made black leather pouch wraps the device without compromising access to its controls or connectors. A simple solution for carrying fragile audio gear on a daily basis.
The Sigma features an unusual design in the world of portable DACs: its transparent rear panel reveals the printed circuit boards and electronic components. This aesthetic choice, a Questyle signature on its high-end devices, makes the unit vulnerable to scratches and impacts. The anti-reflective optical glass does not forgive slips on a table or repeated rubbing in a bag.
The case offers a snug fit that holds the Sigma firmly in place without any play. The genuine leather, supple yet durable, absorbs minor impacts and prevents the micro-scratches that gradually dull glossy surfaces. The lined interior does not abrade the sandblasted aluminum housing.
Carrying your gear protected is one thing. Being able to use it without taking it out of its case is another. The pouch leaves accessible both USB-C ports (one dedicated to audio transfer, the other to charging), the 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm balanced headphone outputs, the LED indicators, the volume wheel, and the gain and mode switches.
This configuration lets you keep the Sigma in its case while listening, whether it’s connected to a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. The built-in magnetic closure ensures fast and silent fastening, without Velcro or snap buttons that could get in the way during handling.
The Sigma measures approximately 110 × 70 × 15 mm and weighs around 200 grams, dimensions close to a thick smartphone. The leather pouch adds a few millimeters of thickness without turning the device into a brick. The matte black leather slips discreetly into a jacket pocket or a bag compartment, far from the flashy look the bare Sigma can have with its transparent window and exposed circuits.
No, this case is tailored exclusively for the Questyle Sigma. The Sigma Pro, which is larger (155.7 × 85 mm versus about 110 × 70 mm for the Sigma), requires a dedicated case sold separately by Questyle.
Like all genuine leather, the material will develop a patina with use. Light wear marks are part of the material’s normal aging process. Occasional care with a suitable leather product will help maintain its suppleness.
Yes, the cutouts leave both USB-C ports completely clear. Charging works normally with the device in its case.
The magnets used are low intensity and positioned away from sensitive circuits. Questyle designed this accessory with electromagnetic compatibility with its device in mind.
It softens light impacts and everyday scuffs, but it is not designed to absorb a heavy drop onto a hard surface. For transport in a backpack or suitcase, a hard case would offer better protection against crushing.
For the standard Sigma, Questyle offers only this black leather pouch. Cases for other models from the brand (such as the M15) are available in several colors, but not this one.
