Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Cine Compact 1 project onto a simple white wall?

Yes. Screen detection and automatic alignment adjust the image to a light-colored wall, without a dedicated screen. A smooth, matte white wall already delivers a satisfactory result. A projection screen is still preferable for contrast and color uniformity, especially on large screen sizes, because it reflects light more evenly than wall paint.

Can it be used outdoors, in a garden or on a terrace?

Its 360-degree adjustable stand and its recyclable EPP carrying case make it easy to take on outings. Two conditions apply: a mains power supply (it accepts 100 to 240 volts) and sufficient darkness, because the laser image requires little ambient light to remain high-contrast. The operating range goes from +5 to +40 °C, which covers most summer evenings.

Which files does it read from a USB drive?

The USB-A 3.0 port supports the main video formats (MP4, MKV, MOV, AVI, WMV, MPG, MPEG, FLV, WebM), MP3, FLAC, WAV, and WMA audio files, and JPEG, PNG, BMP, and GIF images. This lets you play a local video library or display a photo slideshow without using a streaming app.

Can it be paired with wireless headphones or a wireless speaker?

The projector does not have a wired headphone output, but its Bluetooth 5.4 allows you to connect wireless headphones or a speaker, which is convenient for a late-night viewing session without disturbing the neighbors. Apple AirPlay compatibility is mainly used to send picture and sound from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac to the projector.

What distance should be planned between the projector and the surface?

With an optical throw ratio of 1.0 to 1.3, an image about 2.2 meters wide (100 inches) requires a throw distance of 2.2 to 2.9 meters. Digital zoom extends this ratio up to 3.2, allowing placement farther away at the cost of a slight drop in definition. For small rooms, a more modest diagonal brings the installation point correspondingly closer.
