Samsung WMN-H50EB/XC Wall Mount

Reducing the gap between the screen and the wall to just a few millimeters transforms the look of the living room. The television fades away, taking on the appearance of a framed canvas, and discreet cabling completes the illusion. To achieve this effect, Samsung brings the distance between the rear panel of the television and the wall down to 5.3 mm here, on a plate less than half a centimeter thick, compatible with the brand’s recent high-end models.

A television virtually flush with the wall

The 5.3 mm projection between the rear casing of the television and the wall is what sets this model apart from conventional wall mounts, which often leave several centimeters of space behind the screen. At this distance, the television blends into the wall surface as soon as you move one or two meters away: only the edge of the screen remains visible in profile, and the room no longer bears the mark of a suspended device but of a recessed panel. This integration does, however, require careful attention to wall flatness and cable routing, otherwise the aesthetic benefit starts to fade.

A thin plate that supports 50 kg

322 × 160 mm with a thickness of 5.3 mm, or 570 grams on the scale: the plate fits in a padded envelope and remains thinner than a pencil. To support up to 50 kg, the wall fixing is carried out using eight anchor points. This number, higher than what is found on most flat mounts, serves two purposes: to hold the load without deforming the plate, and to keep the screen perfectly pressed against the wall without ripples or visible play from the sofa.

Which Samsung televisions it supports

Compatibility is focused on the upper end of Samsung’s recent range. The 2026 Micro RGB TVs, in sizes from 55 to 85 inches (139.7 to 215.9 cm), are supported. The covered Neo QLED 4K models range from 2021 models to 2026 models, in a span from 43 to 85 inches (109.2 to 215.9 cm). On the OLED side, support runs from 2023 to 2026 models, from 42 to 83 inches (106.7 to 210.8 cm), with two exceptions: the S85 and S90 in 77-inch (195.6 cm) and 83-inch (210.8 cm) versions are not covered. The 2023 to 2026 QLED models from 43 to 85 inches (109.2 to 215.9 cm) are eligible, with the exception of the Q80 series.

Wall mounting with eight anchor points

The installation guide comes with the mount in the box. With eight anchor points to drill, installation requires a little more care than with a four-screw mount, but the distribution of support points makes the result more stable and better compensates for any imperfections in the wall. Cable routing must be planned in advance: a path recessed into the wall or a trunking run in from the side prevents a wire from stopping the mount from closing, since only 5.3 mm remains behind the television. It is better to plan for installation by two people for the larger sizes, where the weight of the television easily exceeds thirty kilos.
