Micro RGB TVs

Micro RGB TVs are LCD displays with a different backlighting principle: instead of blue LEDs covered with filters or a quantum dot layer, red, green and blue micro-LEDs, each smaller than one-tenth of a millimeter, directly produce the three primary colors. Controlled zone by zone, they adjust both the color and brightness of each part of the image, whereas Mini LED backlighting only modulates brightness. The result is a very wide color gamut, close to full coverage of the BT.2020 space, pure colors, high brightness and reduced blooming around bright objects. The panel remains backlit: blacks do not reach the absolute level of an OLED pixel when switched off, but brightness exceeds that of OLED in a bright room. This technology is positioned at the high end, on large screen sizes. This selection of high-definition TVs brings together models with Micro RGB backlighting.
