Audioquest Angel RCA/RCA DBS (RCA Analog Audio Cables)

Angel crowns AudioQuest’s Bridges & Falls series. This analog RCA cable uses solid pure silver conductors (100% Perfect-Surface Silver), a metal whose ultra-smooth surface limits distortion caused by the grain boundaries present in any metallic conductor.

The 72V DBS (Dielectric-Bias System), patented by AudioQuest, continuously polarizes the FEP insulation using a battery integrated into the cable. Without this polarization, the insulation absorbs and releases energy non-linearly, creating phase shifts that vary with frequency. The DBS maintains a stable electrostatic field that organizes the insulation’s molecules, reducing unwanted energy storage. An RF trap, derived from the Niagara range (power conditioning), prevents radio interference from contaminating the signal via the DBS elements.

Air-Tube insulation places the conductors in a tube where air predominates: air absorbs almost no energy, unlike solid insulation. The Asymmetrical Double-Balanced geometry separates ground and shielding (where many unbalanced cables combine them), lowering ground impedance. The pure red copper RCA connectors, silver-plated and cold-welded, complete the assembly without traditional solder.
