HumminGuru Adapter (Calibration and Cleaning Kits)

The HumminGuru HG01 accepts 30 cm records as standard. To clean a 45 rpm single or a 25 cm record, the record must be placed in an adapter that holds it at the correct size in the tank, and HumminGuru offers two: a 7” adapter for 17 cm singles and a 10” adapter for 25 cm records. This 25 cm format remains common for mini-albums, jazz reissues and certain limited editions.

Each adapter comes with five rubber stops that hold the record in place during the cycle. Simply slide the lower stops open, insert the record, then close them before sliding the assembly into the machine. The record stays in place, and ultrasonic cleaning works on both sides just as it does for a 30 cm record. The adapter accepts records up to 2 mm thick, covering both standard and thicker pressings.

With these two adapters, the HG01 cleans an entire collection, not just 30 cm records. This is useful for second-hand 45 rpm singles, often stored without inner sleeves and covered in dust.
