Stereo solid-state hi-fi integrated amplifiers Accuphase

About Accuphase

Accuphase was founded in 1972 by the Kasuga brothers, former engineers at Kenwood, with the aim of creating uncompromising high-end audio products. The name Accuphase combines “accurate” and “phase,” highlighting the importance of signal phase in audio.

In the first year, a small team developed the initial models in Jiro Kasuga’s Tokyo apartment. In August 1973, Accuphase launched three products—the T-100 tuner, the C-200 preamplifier, and the P-300 amplifier—praised by the press for their excellence.

Since its inception, Accuphase has handcrafted high-end products in limited series, using top-quality components. This relentless pursuit of perfection has made it a global reference in high-fidelity. Despite its fame, Accuphase remains a company of 80 people in Yokohama, designing exceptional products that blend tradition and innovation for audiophiles.
