Universal Remote Controls Sofabaton
About Sofabaton
SofaBaton is the Chinese brand that turned a household annoyance into a global business: putting an end to the four remote controls scattered across the coffee table. Launched in 2018, it now claims more than five million devices sold and several patents on its control technologies.
Its key advantage arrived at just the right time. When Logitech discontinued its Harmony line, thousands of users were left without a replacement solution. SofaBaton picked up this orphaned customer base with an operation very similar to Harmony: a database of thousands of devices, activity-based programming, and a single button press that turns on the television, starts the amplifier, selects the correct HDMI input, and launches the video source.
The range consists of three models. The X2 serves as a complete control center, with infrared, radio frequency, Bluetooth, Home Assistant integration, a color touchscreen, and a 360-degree coverage hub that eliminates the need to point at devices. The X1S focuses on simplicity for the television and main sources.
