As the first amplifier in the range to offer 7-channel amplification, the VSX-827 delivers total immersion in the heart of the film through its Dolby Pro Logic IIz compatibility.

The latest technologies related to the Blu-ray format, such as HD audio formats and 3D images, are also taken into account and reproduced in the best conditions, aided by our audio processing technologies like Phase Control and MCACC (automatic acoustic calibration).

The VSX-827 is also the first model this year to feature an A/D video converter and upscaler with 1080p formatting to adapt sources to high-definition screens.

Moreover, its HDMI output allows the display of a simplified OSD menu for easy installation and daily use. Finally, the numerous multimedia possibilities offered by the VSX-827 make it an ideal gateway.

Certified DLNA, Windows 7 and Airplay, it also offers music streaming through its front USB port and listening to Web radios via the integrated vTuner database. Streaming is also possible via Bluetooth using the optional AS-BT200 adapter, compatible with our AIR Jam application.

This same USB port also allows connecting an iPod/iPhone/iPad to access music via a 100% digital connection.
