Emotiva BASX A-500

The BasX A-500 is a five-channel power amplifier. Pair the BasX A-500 with a surround sound preamp and it will become the heart of an exceptional home theater system. You can also use it to enhance the amplification section of your integrated audio/video amplifier, or employ the BasX A-500 to drive the surround speakers in a luxurious home theater setup. Performance and simplicity

The BasX has all the essential features that make up an excellent audio system. The BasX A-500’s circuits feature a high-quality linear power supply, high-current Class A/B biased amplifier modules, trigger input and output, and standard unbalanced audio inputs. It also includes audiophile-grade, transparent protection against operational faults, which safeguards the A-500 and your other equipment against common failure issues.

The BasX A-500 delivers true audiophile quality, and has all the characteristics to prove it: 110 W RMS per channel at less than 0.1% distortion into 8 Ω with both channels driven, total harmonic distortion plus noise below 0.02%, and a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB at full power.
