For decades, Panasonic has partnered with the Hollywood film community to create an experience that perfectly matches the director’s vision. Major studios have contributed to the development of the video processing features and systems of the latest televisions, and their images have been fine-tuned by renowned Hollywood colorists.
OLED Master screens produce deep, intense blacks that reveal the finest details even in abyssal darkness. This means that, thanks to Panasonic’s expertise in image quality and the experience of Hollywood colorists, they are able to reproduce an image faithful to the director’s vision.
The televisions now support several HDR formats, such as the HDR10 format, which is the standard HDR format for movies and UHD Blu-Ray discs, as well as the Hybrid Log Gamma format, which is the HDR format developed for television by the BBC and Japan’s NHK.
The Panasonic Oled FZ800 TV — the 65-inch version of the Panasonic 55FZ800 that we tested — is practically flawless. It delivers a perfect picture, whether in SDR, HDR, or even for gaming. However, while the display quality is perfect, Panasonic is starting to fall behind on other points that make a difference compared to the best Oled TVs, such as the operating system, which is too limited, or the remote control, which is much too basic and lacks a microphone.

Coming from a Panasonic plasma, I'm very satisfied with this TV! I haven't found any flaws so far! However, proper adjustment is necessary to achieve a good cinematic rendering.
