Very good value for money, power for a device allowing all types of connections, video up to 8K, digital and analog audio. The power is definitely there and it can drive demanding speakers. I use it for video with a Blu-ray player with two HDMI outputs, one audio and the other in 4K. As reinforcement for a hi-fi amplifier to get a sense of depth on electronic music. The range of options is wide. Stereo, stereo surround, Dolby 5.1, Dolby 7.1, etc... it is not an amplifier that will rival a pure audiophile hi-fi stereo, but the sound remains good even if it is more precise in the bass range than in the high frequencies. It is connected at my home to two floorstanding speakers and five Mission speakers and has been working very well for several years with at least weekly use.

Well, I must admit that this AV amplifier is simply perfect for my 5.1 setup (I was hesitating with a slightly less powerful Marantz, but a deal on this refurbished Denon sealed the deal). Managing it via smartphone is quite easy. It powers my Focal speakers perfectly. The calibration with the microphone is pretty good, but I had to manually adjust the bass configuration to ease the load on the amplifier (after all, that's what the subwoofer is for). In short, nothing more to say except that it's quality Home Cinema equipment. I'm fully satisfied with the purchase.
